The California Black Chamber of Commerce & Chamber Foundation (CBCC/F) was established 15 years ago to help build the capacity of regional Black Chambers of Commerce and Business Associations throughout California. We are the largest state-wide African American non?profit business organization representing small and emerging businesses throughout the State of California. We provide advocacy, leadership training, technical assistance, support for supplier diversity issues, facilitates business development, and technical training for purposes of economic development and creating self?employment and wealth in Black communities.
There are 22 regional African American Chambers, Business Associations, and Faith & Community Based Organizations in the State of California that belong to the Chamber. Regional Chambers represent a network of organizations that in addition to advocating for small business development at their local level, provide training and technical assistance to new, microenterprises in their local communities. These organizations form the Chamber Council of Chambers (CoC) which represents the leadership of the intermediary organizations we serve. The Chamber network provides services and support to 11 percent women owned small businesses, and 89 percent men-owned small businesses, 98% of which are African American.
